Karaburun & Sazan Island Day Trip

On this day trip to Karaburun and Sazan Island, you'll enjoy the Adriatic Sea breeze and the crystalline waters of Albania's southwestern coast. We'll visit a marine park and a cave!

Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the Kolegji Universitar Logos at the designated time and leave Tirana to travel to the Vlorë coast. The journey will showcase Albania's natural beauty.

Once in Vlorë, our first stop will be for a coffee and breakfast before we start our day in the idyllic Albanian Riviera. We will then head to the port to board a boat to the Peninsula of Karaburun.

After 30 minutes of sailing across the Adriatic Sea, we'll reach the Karaburun Marine National Park. Here we will enjoy beaches with turquoise waters for swimming and explore the local marine ecosystem. The wild cliffs of Karaburun are notable.

Next, we'll proceed to Sazan, known for being a naval base during the Second World War. We'll view the abandoned military building and old bunkers, as well as the Haxhi Allia Cave, which features limestone formations.

After the exploration, we'll return to Karaburun where you can relax on its pristine beaches. There will be free time for dining and experiencing Albanian cuisine.

At the end of the day, we'll return to Tirana after this 12-hour day trip.
