Bergamo Food Tour

At your chosen time, we'll meet at Piazza Mercato delle Scarpe 5 to begin our food tour. We will pass through the historic Porta Dipinta and enter the upper part of Lombard Town to explore the culinary offerings of the city.

Accompanied by our guide, we will stroll through the historic center, discovering traditional country dishes and current culinary trends that blend strong and delicate flavors.

The tour starts with a traditional Bergamo aperitif with a glass of Valcalepio red wine, followed by a plate of fresh pasta featuring foiade or casoncelli, which is a half-moon shaped filled pasta.

Our second tasting will be a dish of polenta with lard and cheese, a historical recipe made with cornflour and taleggio cheese, renowned in Lombard gastronomy.

To conclude, we will visit an old ice cream parlour to enjoy coffee and stracciatella ice cream, a flavor invented here in the 1960s.

The tour lasts 3 hours, highlighting Bergamo's cuisine.
