Velia Archaeological Park Excursion

After being picked from your hotel in Palinuro, we'll head to the archaeological site of Velia in the Piana di Velia district of Ascea Marina. Once at the site, known as Velia in Roman times and Elea in Greek times, we will explore the remains of this significant city along the ancient trade routes between Greece and Etruria. The highlight of the visit will be the Porta Rosa, the only surviving example of a 4th century Greek arch.

After six hours of excursion, we will return you to your hotel in Palinuro.
