Explore historic castles, kiss the Blarney Stone and see one of the Seven Wonders of Ireland on our Blarney Castle & Rock of Cashel Day Trip from Dublin. You'll also see breathtaking mountain views as we explore this beautiful part of Ireland.

Blarney Castle, Rock of Cashel & Cahir Castle Day Trip

On the morning of the excursion, we'll meet in Dublin before setting off to the south. We'll pass through The Curragh, known for horse training, and glimpse the Galtee Mountains.

After around 3 hours of driving, we'll arrive at the Rock of Cashel, a historic site with structures from the 12th century, including the High Cross, Romanesque Chapel, Gothic Cathedral, and Round Tower, along with grounds featuring standing crosses.

Next, we will visit Blarney Castle, home to the famous Blarney Stone. Kissing the stone is believed to grant the "gift of the gab." Participants will have time to explore the castle ruins and its grounds.

Our last stop will be Cahir Castle in County Tipperary, located on an island in the River Suir. This well-preserved castle retains much of its 13th-century structure. A guided tour will be available to learn about its history.

During the trip, you'll also see views of the Knockmealdown Mountains.

At the end of the day, we will return to Dublin, dropping off participants at 7 pm at Dame Street in the city centre.
