We will pick you up from your hotel in central Stockholm to start an exciting day trip to Uppsala. This city has a historical legacy as the site of royal coronations and funerals.

Upon arrival, our first stop is the Uppsala Cathedral, constructed in 1273 and the largest cathedral in Scandinavia. The Swedish archbishop's seat is located here.

After exploring the cathedral for 30 minutes, we will proceed to Gamla Uppsala to visit the Viking-era archaeological site. You will have 1 hour of free time to explore the immense burial mounds and the on-site museum, enhancing your understanding of Sweden's Viking past and viewing Anders Celsius' grave.

After the archaeological site, we'll visit Uppsala Castle, a 16th-century structure where we will learn about the Sture murders. You will have 1 hour of free time at the castle, including time for lunch at nearby local restaurants.

Our final stop is Uppsala University, where we will spend 20 minutes learning about its history dating back to 1477, with the main building constructed in 1887.

After 7 hours of exploring Sweden's history, we will return you to your hotel in Stockholm.
