Half Day Tour to The Sacred city of Kairouan from Hammamet

Kairouan, first city founded by the Arabs in North Africa has become over the centuries a spiritual center and is know as one of the first universities of humanity.

There, we will start with a panoramic view of the city with stops to the aghlabid basins, tipical water reservoirs from the 9th century.

We will then continue to the mausoleum of the prophet's companion, built in the 17th century.

And to finish on a sacred note, you will visit the great Kairaouan Mosque, the most famous and the first mosque to be built in the whole North Africa.
