Private Tour of Noto

We'll meet at the indicated time at the entrance gate to the historic center of Noto, specifically the Porta Reale or Porta Ferdinandea, near the Church of San Francesco d'Assisi. The private tour will begin with a visit to this church to admire its frescoes and decorations.

Next, we'll proceed to the Church of Santa Chiara, where we will observe columns adorned with stucco and statues of apostles and cherubs.

We will continue our visit at Piazza del Duomo, home to the Ducezio Palace, which houses the City Hall, built between the 18th and 19th centuries, featuring a stunning frescoed ceiling.

In front of this architectural jewel stands the staircase leading to the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, a symbol of Noto, which has collapsed three times throughout history, a story we will share.

Our next stop will be the Via Nicolaci, known for the famous "infiorata", alongside the most notable noble palaces of Noto. The Nicolaci Palace is particularly remarkable with its decorative balconies.

Finally, we will explore the Loggia del Mercato, previously a market and now a venue for cultural events. We will conclude the tour by appreciating the Tina di Lorenzo Theater and the Hercules Fountain after a 2-hour tour.
