Pompeii Excursion
At the appointed time, we'll meet at Salerno Central Station. There, we'll board a train for a quick and comfortable scenic trip to the legendary ruins of Pompeii, enjoying views of the Amalfi Coast along the way. Once we arrive, we'll be met by a knowledgeable guide who will provide us with priority access tickets to the archaeological park and lead us on a two-hour tour to explore the ancient colony buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.
During the tour, we will visit significant sites such as elegant domus, theaters, the lupanare, baths, and stores, concluding at the iconic forum, which features casts of some victims of the eruption. We will learn about the lifestyle, customs, and habits of the ancient Romans.
At the end of the tour, the guide will provide directions back to the station and offer tips on how to continue the visit on your own if desired.
