Discover the Archaeological Park of Dion (duration 90 minutes)

The Archaeological Park of Dion is the most important archeological site at Mt Olympus. In the area comprised by the archeological park of Dion Sanctuaries, where found from Hellenistic and Roman periods.

Explore the Monastery of Saint Dionysius (30 minutes)

The Monastery is the most important Greek Orthodox monastery in the Pieria Prefecture. It is located at the Enipeas ravine at an altitude of 850 m. The original monastery, established in 1542, was destroyed by the Germans in 1943.

Walk through a scenic path and admire the Orlia’s Stream (30 minutes)

If your are a mountain lover you will be enchanted by the impressive slopes and the waterfall. Orlias Stream, a unique verdant Heaven-on-Earth, draws its livelihood from the crystal waters, flowing from Mt. Olympus’ slopes, form continuous waterfalls and pools, providing us with an opportunity to swim and dive in the beautiful scenery.

Traditional Greek Lunch at a Local Restaurant (50 minutes)

Before returning to Thessaloniki, you will enjoy a traditional lunch at a family-run restaurant in Dion, known for its warm hospitality and daily specials made with fresh, local ingredients. As you dine, you can admire the majestic view of Mount Olympus in the background, adding a magical touch to your meal.
