Details of the Day Trip

On the designated day, we will collect you from your accommodation in Tirana. From there, we will proceed northwards to the charming town of Kruja. Our route will take us across the Sari Salltik Mountains, where the rugged terrain is imbued with deep spiritual significance and folklore.

To fully appreciate this unique environment, we will make a stop at the Sari Salltik Sanctuary, perched at an altitude of 1,176 meters. This site is historically linked to a mystical dervish from the 13th century, offering a fascinating glimpse into its storied past.

After this enlightening visit, we will continue our journey towards Kruja. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a leisurely walk through the Kruja bazaar. Renowned for its diverse offerings, you will find everything from kilims (rugs) to eleshe (traditional hats), making it an ideal spot for souvenir hunting.

Next, we will explore Kruja Castle, which is home to the Skanderbeg Museum, dedicated to the legendary figure George Castriota, famously known as “Skanderbeg.”

Inside this grand structure, we will discover an array of historical artifacts that will transport you back to the 15th century. A notable highlight includes the collection of armor, featuring a replica of Skanderbeg's battle helmet.

As our excursion comes to a close, we will board our vehicle and return you to your hotel in Tirana, with an estimated arrival time between 7 to 8.5 hours after your initial pickup.
