Embark on an exploration of Tokyo’s famed district, known for hosting the largest fish market in the world. This experience offers you the chance to savor pristine seafood and partake in an authentic traditional Japanese meal.
Tour Overview
The adventure begins at the scheduled time at the entrance of Honganji Temple, from where we will venture to what used to be the globe's largest fish market.
Your journey will commence in the historical marketplace, where we'll visit a quaint shrine and the Tsukiji Hongan-ji Buddhist temple, a site with origins in the 17th century.
Next, we will stroll through the streets that once contained the Tsukiji Market. Although the expansive fish market has relocated to Toyosu, several renowned fish shops continue to thrive in Tsukiji.
As part of the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste exquisite oysters and a variety of fresh local seafood. A visit to a local restaurant will allow us to indulge in delicious donburi, a traditional dish featuring a delightful mix of fish, meat, and vegetables.
To conclude, we will ascend to an observation point that boasts breathtaking panoramic views of the district. The entire tour will bring us back to the starting location after a duration of three hours.
