The great thing about the Mreznica Kayaking in Croatia trip is that you don’t need any previous kayaking experience. It is so safe, even the 12-year-olds can join. Still, this kayaking trip is exciting enough even for the more adventurous ones. For example, you can jump off a 9 m (29 ft) high cliff. Although the Mreznica River is close to sometimes crowded Plitvice Lakes, they feel light-years apart even though the scenery is equally stunning and the waters are equally emerald. However, not even all Croatians know about this hidden gem in the heart of Croatia.

So, if you are staying anywhere in the Plitvice area, this kayaking trip is a must. Another thing to know is that you can’t swim in Plitvice Lakes National Park, but you can swim in the clear waters of the Mreznica River, making it a perfect option on hot days.

As every participant paddles in their own boat, our minimum age requirement is 12 years. Nevertheless – this trip is suitable for beginners, families with teenagers, and smaller groups. The route is 11 km long and a reasonable fitness level is required.
